TG Fluid Systems USA Corporation Opens New Plant
Kiyosu, Japan, May 13, 2015: TG Fluid Systems USA Corporation (TGFSUS), a North American subsidiary of Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. (Kiyosu, Japan) that produces plastic fuel tubes and other plastic automotive components, has a acquired a new plant to consolidate operations and raise efficiency. A dedication ceremony for the new plant was held on May 12, 2015.
TGFSUS currently produces plastic fuel tubes in two plants, its Brighton Plant and Howell Plant. To create a more efficient production system and ensure the space to increase production capacity as needs arise in the future, the company established a new plant near the existing Brighton Plant in November of 2014. The new plant has a floor area about 1.5 times larger than the total of the current Brighton and Howell Plants combined. TGFSUS plans to move and consolidate production equipment from the two plants into the new plant by 2017.
The May 12 ribbon cutting ceremony for the New Brighton Plant was attended by government officials, customers and other related parties. Toyoda Gosei President Tadashi Arashima expressed his appreciation by saying “I am grateful for your cooperation and I am looking forward to a long lasting relationship with the people, the spirit and the culture of the City of Brighton.”
Toyoda Gosei will continue to create the best production and supply systems globally to be a first-choice supplier to customers worldwide.
