Announcement of Management and Organizational Changes
Kiyosu, Japan, June 16, 2022: Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. held an election for Directors and Audit & Supervisory Board Members at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on June 16. After the Shareholders’ Meeting, the Board decided to transfer some Directors and Corporate Officers and to make changes in organizational responsibilities. Organizational reform and personnel change were also carried out on the same day.

4．Organizational Changes
Research and Development Headquarters (reorganization)
▽To flatten the organization with the aim of speeding up development, we are closing the Product Development Center and placing its five divisions directly under the Research and Development Headquarters.
▽The name of the EV & FCV Development Division is being changed to the EV & FCEV Development Division.
Automotive Business Headquarters (reorganization)
▽To strengthen administration ability for each automotive business (WS, FC, IE and SS business), the Automotive Business Management Center is being changed to the Automotive Business Management Headquarters, and the WS, FC, IE, and SS Business Areas are being changed to “Business Headquarters.” In conjunction with this, the Automotive Business Headquarters is being closed.
▽A new Automotive Business Management Division is being split off from the Production Engineering Management Division.
▽The Production Administration Division is being transferred to the Automotive Business Management Headquarters.
▽To strengthen planning ability for car supplies in the interior and exterior part areas and establish a solid footing for expansion of businesses with higher value*2 in the future, a new Value-up Business Planning Division is being established in the IE Business Headquarters.
▽The name of the FCV Parts Production Engineering Development Division is being changed to the FCEV Business Planning and Development Division, and the name of the FCV Parts Manufacturing Division is being changed to the FCEV Manufacturing Division.
Another change
▽New Regional Headquarters are being established in each region for closer coordination between the World Headquarters and each international region (Americas, China, Taiwan, ASEAN, India, Europe/Africa).
*2 In addition to conventional automotive supplies, such businesses will provide higher added value for grade management (differentiation of interiors and exteriors in accordance with the vehicle grade) and the after market.
